We are seeking an experienced systems administrator with a background in Linux administration, particularly RedHat.
Responsibilities will include executing efforts supporting incremental software deliveries that could require reconfiguration and continuous restructuring/builds of the current infrastructure as new baselines are delivered. Initial responsibilities will include: GOTs/COTs SW installs, monitor system health, remedying problems, Security Hardening, perform updates and patching. Must be able to work individually as well as an active member of integrated teams, lead multiple tasks, projects and/or teams. May also oversee and monitor performance across several disciplines, and when required, take steps to resolve issues.
Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly
Linux Administration (RedHat)
Current Security+ CE
Experience performing systems backups, maintaining archives, and data recovery
Good working knowledge of scripting languages (sh, bash, perl)
Experience with VMWare & VMWare storage technologies (e.g. VMDK, vSAN)
RedHat Certified Systems Administrator
Experience with Splunk
Experience administering Oracle RDBMS and PostgreSQL
Experience administering in AWS environment
High School diploma/GED with 12 years of experience; OR Associates degree with 10 years of experience; OR Bachelors degree with 8 years of experience; OR Masters degree with 6 years of experience; OR PhD with 4 years of experience
